Connecting Books With the Institutions That Need Them

ObaFaith is developing relationships and partnerships that can connect Christian books with established African channels.

Potential distribution partners include:

Churches → Seminaries → Bible Colleges → Christian Schools → Bookstores → Ministries → NGOs → Community Organizations

Our initial focus is informed by our Kenyan roots and East African experience, with the potential to develop partnerships extending into other African markets.

We see opportunities for a network connecting:

Kenya → Uganda → Tanzania → Rwanda → South Sudan → Zambia → Ghana → Nigeria → South Africa

The geographic scope of each project would be determined by its rights, funding, production capacity, distribution partners, and intended audience.

About the project

Starting point

Engaging with educational experts, we uncovered what the most fundamental tools are for trainee teachers. This included how much time was required for training.

Support from local communities

Finding out the main enduring barriers to education, as well as the most essential requirements to childhood development in Haiti, was at the core of our mission here.

End result

By listening, engaging, and understanding exactly what was needed to empower educators in Haiti, we were able to equip 48 teachers with the necessary skills to use in the classroom.
